"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."
— Dr. Seuss
I leave... tomorrow.
It seems so surreal!
I am on one heck of a mood swing right now, I can't decide whether to be happy, sad, or excited!
I am sitting on the floor by my suitcase, sorting things to bring with me, and finishing the power point on Alaskan History that I plan to give to my club in Germany.
I think I finally have everything I need... maybe. Getting everything together is just so DIFFICULT!
--------------Several Hours Later-----------------
I finally did finish packing, it took me hours!
Tomorrow, the plan is to finish up all my last minute details, going with my sister to Karate class, going to dinner at Moose's Tooth, and going to the airport.
I have little time to write, but as soon as arrive in Deutschland, I will post- if not a words- photos!
22 hours left.
Can't wait to get this show on the road!

I'm very interested in hearing what your first impressions of Deutschland are! Also, how has Rotary been for you versus say, CBYX or AFS? Would you have rather gone with them or are you happy with Rotary?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, this is Dragearen from CS.
Rotary... is amazing. If you paid me to go with another program, I would still pay to use Rotary.
ReplyDeleteMy first impression was how direct Germans are, and how nice my host parents are. I love it it here. Would not have had it any other way.
And they drive quite fast, and owning a bike is a must.
Love it here.
